Job summary

Shoppers Drug Mart is seeking an experienced Merchandiser to join the Store Concepts Team in Winnipeg. You will merchandise sections per planograms, set up fixtures, label sections, and coordinate with coordinators and project leaders across store renovations and openings.

Travel up to 70% with compensation for travel costs. Weekend and holiday work may be required, and a valid driver’s license with a reliable vehicle is necessary.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail merchandising and store concepts.
• Must understand planograms and merchandising standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel up to 70% and work weekends/holidays.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Willingness to travel across provinces as needed.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise sections per planograms and standards.
• Assist in fixtures/assets setup.
• Label sections per merchandising standards.
• Coordinate with Store Development Coordinators and onsite management.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for projects.
• Receive, log and verify merchandise as directed.
• Build seasonal and promotional displays per coordinator guidance.
• Travel costs are compensated for projects.
