Job summary

PAL Airlines is seeking Flight Attendants to join our award-winning team in Halifax, Montreal and St. John's.

You will enforce Transport Canada policies, demonstrate emergency protocols, and communicate essential flight information while delivering exceptional customer service. Qualifying candidates are at least 18, able to travel internationally, hold a valid passport, and ready to complete a 5-week full-time training.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to travel in the US without restrictions and hold a valid passport.
  • Must be able to maintain an Airport Restricted Area Identification Card.
  • Must be able to speak French and English.
  • Preference given to candidates with customer service experience.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, time management, and customer service skills.
  • Criminal record check prior to employment.
  • Availability to travel away from home for extended periods.
  • Must successfully complete an initial 5-week full-time training program.
  • Flexibility to work all shifts and adapt to fluctuations in shift times.

Responsibilities

  • Enforce all Transport Canada policies/procedures to ensure compliance with PAL Airlines and Air Operator standards.
  • Demonstrate and explain emergency protocols to ensure passenger safety throughout flights.
  • Communicate important flight information and updates to all passengers and crew.
  • Deliver high quality customer service standards throughout all phases of the travel experience.
  • Assist with the resolution of unexpected operational challenges and passenger concerns.
  • Successfully work both independently and within a team to fulfil operational needs.
  • Represent PAL Airlines with professionalism and respect to all travelers.
  • Provide first aid and medical assistance when required.
