Job summary

Fraser Health Authority is seeking a full-time Trauma Physician to join the ARHCC Trauma Service within Fraser Health’s Trauma Network in Abbotsford, BC.

The Trauma Physician will serve as a Trauma Team Lead/Consultant for activations and consultations, acting as MRP for admitted patients while being on-call 24/7 for ~7 days every 2 months. Join a team of 9 trauma physicians in a Level 3 centre.

Qualifications

• Fellowship in Trauma or Acute Care Surgery would be an asset but not required.
• ER physicians, intensivists, anesthesiologists and general surgeons with trauma experience are welcome to apply.
• On-call duties include 24/7 coverage approx. 7 days every 2 months.

Responsibilities

• Lead Trauma Team activations and consultations.
• MRP for admitted patients, on-call 24/7.
• Collaborate with ER physicians, surgeons and allied professionals.
