Qualifications

• Minimum of two years recent related experience in child and youth care.
• Successful applicants will require three professional references.
• Valid CPR/First Aid, WHMIS and Food Hygiene certificates.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to children, youth or adults with behavioral problems.
• Assess and implement individual personal service plans.
• Administer medications according to established guidelines.

Skills

Child and Youth Care Degree or Diploma

Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License

Prior experience with trauma‑informed practice

Behavioral Interventions

CPR/First Aid Certification
