Job summary

Mott MacDonald in Vancouver, BC is inviting summer interns to join our Prelaunch program, a structured three-month development journey designed to build engineering foundations and professional business acumen.

You’ll work with mentors and peers across our Buildings, Energy, Transportation, and Water sectors, contributing to real projects while developing problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills in a collaborative, inclusive hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Progress towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Demonstrated interest in your chosen field through previous internships, volunteering opportunities, or organization memberships.
• Creative thinking skills, with a methodical and pragmatic approach to problem solving.
• Proficient communication and presentation skills to engage confidently with clients and colleagues.
• Resilient, solution-oriented mindset, with a focus on continuous growth and delivering value.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships and rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
