We are currently looking for a Transportation and Shipping Coordinator to join our team. This role will support the management of inbound and outbound warehouse traffic.

What you'll Be doing:
  • Works daily with carrier partners, customer service.
  • Plan and coordinate transportation of finished goods and manage the timely delivery to customers (Wine Rack and On Premise) and other appointments that are required.
  • Monitors and coordinates the delivery, pickup and drop-off schedules.
  • Complete all Bill of Ladings Daily for all outbound loads leaving MDC using our ERP system JDE (Oracle)
  • Ensure when closing orders inventory accuracy.
  • Work with Supervisors on inventory issues and discrepancies
  • Identify and support the resolution of order flow or shipment delays.
  • Maintain and track delivery schedules to ensure delivery schedules are met, score card for carriers, metrics and KPI’s reviewed with Manager and carriers on monthly basis
  • Document and resolve delivery discrepancies and escape issues as required.
  • Work with Customer Service on Daily returns and metrics are followed.
  • Maintain Standard Operating Procedures
  • Identify opportunities for improvement for process and cost efficiencies.
What you bring:
  • Post-secondary education in General Business/Administration/Supply Chain or related discipline is an asset
  • 1-2 years in transportation or logistics
  • Previous experience in a distributions/warehouse environment is an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
  • Advanced communication and coordination skills
  • Intermediate computer skills including database and computer applications
  • Demonstrated ability to multi task

COMPENSATION:

Budgeted Range – $46,551.00 -60,243.00 the budgeted range takes into account several factors and qualifications that are considered in making compensation decisions including experience, education, training, licenses, certifications, and other business and organizational requirements. Base pay is only one component of the total rewards offering at Arterra.
