Job summary

Southern Industrial & Truck Ltd. is seeking experienced Service Technicians to service highway trucks and trailers. You will perform routine maintenance, inspect critical systems, and diagnose malfunctions using diagnostic tools. A hands-on approach and safety awareness are essential.

You will test drive and replace components as needed, ensuring vehicles are operating reliably for customers. This role requires working with diverse truck models and a commitment to high standards of workmanship.

Qualifications

• Experience performing routine maintenance on heavy trucks.
• Ability to inspect brake systems, bearings and steering mechanisms.
• Skilled at diagnosing faults with computer tools.

• Inspect various parts of trucks, including brake systems, wheel bearings and steering mechanisms to ensure they are in the proper condition to operate effectively
• Diagnose malfunctions in defective equipment by inspecting and testing. Use computers to determine how to trouble shoot and address problems.
• Test drive vehicles to ensure they are running properly.
• Replace parts, valves, bearings and gears as needed.
