Job summary

A critical care service provider in Saskatoon is seeking a part-time Transport Physician to provide critical care and transport services. The ideal candidate will have a background in emergency medicine and trauma surgery, along with the ability to respond quickly in urgent situations. Responsibilities include working with a medical team to ensure high-quality care and safe patient transport. This role requires availability for on-call duties and physical presence during base time.

Qualifications

• Be an acute care practitioner in Emergency Medicine, Anesthesia, ICU or Trauma Surgery.
• Understand Saskatchewan's critical care and Red Patient Referral transfer systems.
• Demonstrate commitment to quality assurance and improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care and transport of patients of all ages.
• Work in coordination with a Registered Flight Nurse and Critical Care Paramedic.
• Respond within 15 minutes during on-call duty.
