Job summary

Traferox, a medical technology company transforming organ transplantation, is seeking a Clinical Applications Specialist in Mississauga, Ontario. The role is hybrid with 60% travel, supporting adoption and clinical use of preservation technologies, providing education, product training, and ongoing clinical support to transplant programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a healthcare discipline (Biomedical Sciences, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, Perfusion)
• 2+ years of experience in clinical applications, medical devices, biotech, healthcare, or transplantation preferred
• Strong presentation and training skills with ability to educate diverse clinical audiences
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement
• Willingness to travel regularly to customer sites and conferences across North America

Responsibilities

• Deliver product training and onboarding programs for new clinical customers
• Provide in-service education for surgeons, procurement teams, perfusionists, coordinators and OR staff
• Support customer adoption with clinical guidance before, during, and after initial product implementation
• Develop and maintain training materials, resources, and SOPs
• Participate in customer workshops, demonstrations, and educational events
• Serve as clinical expert on Traferox products and preservation workflows
• Support transplant teams during product implementation and early use
• Collect customer feedback and communicate insights to internal teams to improve products and training
• Collaborate with Commercial and Marketing to develop educational materials
• Contribute clinical input on product positioning and messaging
• Support product launches through clinical education and customer engagement
