Job summary

CIMA+ is seeking a Transmission Lines Civil Designer in Canada to lead design and engineering efforts for high-voltage transmission projects. You will apply civil/structural skills to develop safe, cost-effective solutions, manage design tasks, and support construction with field reviews and technical guidance.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, contribute to standards, and work in a hybrid setup across Canada.

Qualifications

• University degree in Civil/Structural Engineering required.
• Minimum five years of experience on transmission projects.
• Proficiency in design/analysis software and CAD systems; MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop safe engineering solutions for medium complexity transmission projects.
• Support management to meet safety, cost, quality, and schedule targets.
• Resolve technical design problems with independent analysis and practical solutions.
• Deliver signed/sealed engineering deliverables as required.
• Prepare design documentation and manage design tasks (scope, schedule, cost).
• Provide construction support and field reviews as needed.
