Job summary

Torq Transloading in Whitecourt, Alberta, is seeking a dependable Transload Operator for a full-time, year-round role with a Monday–Friday schedule and home every night. This hands-on position works outdoors in a dynamic industrial setting, and requires successful completion of a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and a fitness assessment.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
• Safety-conscious and dependable with ability to work outdoors.
• Strong work ethic, reliability and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload products, including hydrochloric acid (HCl) and methanol, following procedures.
• Inspect railcars, equipment and work areas before and after operations.
• Operate site equipment and loading systems safely and efficiently.
• Weigh trucks and maintain load information using the Cardinal scale system.
• Complete shipping documentation and operational records accurately.
