Job Summary

HR Service Jobs is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Translator / Interpreter to join our remote team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately converting written and spoken materials from one language to another while maintaining the meaning, tone, and cultural nuances of the original content. This role plays a critical part in facilitating communication between international teams, clients, and stakeholders across different languages. Candidates should be fluent in at least two languages and demonstrate exceptional comprehension, writing, and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translate documents, emails, reports, and other written materials with high linguistic accuracy.

  • Provide live or recorded interpretation during virtual meetings, conferences, and interviews.

  • Ensure translations convey the intended meaning, tone, and cultural context.

  • Review and edit translated materials to guarantee quality and consistency.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet translation and interpretation needs.

  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

  • Manage multiple translation projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

  • Research terminology and stay updated on language trends and cultural developments.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Linguistics, Translation, Communication, or a related field.

  • Proficiency in at least two languages (English plus another language is required).

  • Strong understanding of grammar, syntax, and idiomatic expressions in both languages.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Attention to detail and strong proofreading abilities.

  • Proficiency in translation tools or CAT software (e.g., SDL Trados, MemoQ, or Wordfast).

  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.

Experience
  • Minimum 1–3 years of proven experience as a translator, interpreter, or similar role.

  • Experience working in professional or corporate settings will be considered an advantage.

  • Fresh graduates with strong linguistic abilities are also encouraged to apply.
