Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience working in security, preferably in a shelter location.
• Must have a valid Ontario Security License.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week.
• First Aid and CPR.

Responsibilities

• Monitor access to designated areas and verify identification.
• Promptly respond to conflicts involving patrons or staff.
• Act swiftly in emergency situations and assist with evacuations.
• Conduct regular patrols and monitor for suspicious behavior.
• Document and report safety concerns and disturbances.
