Job summary

A public transit agency in Ontario is seeking a Manager Transit Operations & Maintenance to oversee safety compliance and contract oversight across BRT networks. The successful candidate will manage operations, ensure high-quality customer service, and develop partnerships with municipal service providers. This role requires a degree in Business or Engineering and significant experience in the transportation sector. A project management certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Completion of a degree in Business or Engineering or a related discipline.
• Progressive experience in the transportation and/or public transit sector.
• Achievement of a project management certification such as PMP is an asset.
• Experience managing operations in passenger rail service or bus operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee services through operational guidelines.
• Manage operator compliance with service level plans.
• Advise on communication plans with partners and stakeholders.
• Manage service delivery schedules in compliance with BRT service strategies.
• Conduct operational planning in alignment with organizational goals.
