Transformation Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated, dynamic and experienced Transformation Manager to drive critical strategic initiatives and represent Operations on the GWAM Retirement projects. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for orchestrating transformation programs from conception to successful execution, ensuring alignment with our overarching OKRs and business objectives and delivering tangible, measurable results.

Position Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage end-to-end transformation programs on GWAM Retirement Operations to support the development of enhancements, AI initiatives and other book of work initiatives encompassing process re‑engineering, technology adoption, organizational design, and cultural change.
  • Work with Project Teams and Transformation Director to ensure project milestones are defined, provide inputs into cost-benefit analysis and resource needs, and assist with risk mitigation plans.
  • Work within GWAM Retirement cross‑functional project teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and ensuring effective collaboration across various departments (e.g., IT, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Product).
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
  • Facilitate workshops, presentations, and meetings to gather input, build consensus, and communicate progress.
  • Act as a central point of contact for all transformation‑related inquiries and updates.
  • Work with Project team, Product Owner and Directors to define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of transformation initiatives.
  • Regularly report on progress, challenges, and outcomes to senior leadership.
  • Partner with the Change Management team on change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of new processes, systems, and ways of working.
  • Identify potential resistance points and suggest proactive mitigation strategies.
Required Qualifications
  • 5 to 10+ years’ experience working in financial industry.
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset. If the successful candidate is in Québec, proficiency in both languages will be required to support clients from various provinces outside of Quebec.
  • Experience and strong knowledge of Canada and US Retirement businesses, operations, regulatory environments and market trends.
  • Experience with Salesforce and Amazon Connect.
  • Experience working with internal stakeholders (operations, product, marketing, compliance, risk).
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with others and influence and inspire at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi‑task and to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
  • Highly motivated and possess an eagerness and willingness to learn.
  • Confident self‑starter who is results focused.
  • Superior analytical and organizational skills.
  • Negotiate, influence and persuade without authority.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities and can demonstrate high integrity while making appropriate judgment call.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and change management principles.

Salary range is expected to be between

$71,925.00 CAD – $119,875.00 CAD
