The Job

The Training Admin Assistant supports the Training Department by ensuring that employee training requirements are accurately managed and processed in a timely manner. This role is responsible for maintaining training records, monitoring compliance, and addressing employee training inquiries to enhance the employee experience. We are looking to add an ambitious, well-rounded individual to carry out the following key responsibilities :

  • Assign training and assist with coordination of training with the Scheduling department.
  • Maintain internal training tracking systems and processes.
  • Assist in the preparation of training materials, including PowerPoint presentations, handouts, and other support materials.
  • Review drivers abstract and first aid certificates to ensure the correct records are provided by employees.
  • Coordination and tracking of field operations employee development processes and assessment tools.
  • Update employee training records in a timely manner in all required locations.
  • Coordinate hearing tests at all shop locations and help employees with individual booking as required.
  • Monitor training compliance, reporting deficiencies to the Training team for follow-up.
  • Perform secretarial duties for committees as required.
  • Process pre-access requirements including booking appointments, tracking, and submitting required employee documentation to clients.
  • Assist with processing grant funding requirements.

The Setting

This position is based out of the Branch Location in Saskatoon, SK. Office work environment with some travel required.

The Schedule

Standard working hours are 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday. There will also be some requirements to be available after hours and on weekends during busy times.
