Job summary

Mastertech in Moncton is seeking Licensed Trailer Technicians to diagnose, repair and maintain a variety of trailers and equipment as part of a growing fleet maintenance team.

You will service Dry vans, Flatbeds, Heaters and Reefer units and perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs at customer locations with a focus on safety and quality. Afternoon shift 3:00 pm–10:00 pm, with overtime available.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid 310J or 310T Technician License with trailer repair experience.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting abilities and Diagnostics skills.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain trailers and related equipment at customer locations.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, braking, suspension, and structural systems.
• Complete welding, fabrication, and body repair while upholding safety and quality.
• Work independently in a mobile service environment and lift up to 85 lbs.

Job description

Licensed Trailer Technicians are needed to join a growing fleet maintenance team in Moncton. This role offers the opportunity to work as part of a team to help diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of trailers and equipment.

Technicians will service a range of trailer types: Dry vans, Flatbeds, Heaters, Reefer units, etc.

Compensation & Benefits:

• $25.00 - $30.00/hour based on experience

Shift/Schedule: Afternoon Shift; 3:00 pm - 10:00 pm Monday to Friday with flexible start times Overtime available

Preferred Requirements:

• Hold a valid 310J or 310T Technician License, with previous trailer repair experience and strong mechanical troubleshooting abilities.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on trailers and related equipment at customer locations.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, braking, suspension, and structural systems, including component replacement as required.
• Complete welding, fabrication, and body repair work while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and workmanship.
• Possess a valid driver's license, the ability to work independently in a mobile service environment, and safely lift up to 85 lbs.
