As a Traffic Technologist I, you will play a key role in keeping Peterborough’s roads and traffic systems safe, efficient, and well-maintained. Working closely with contractors, City staff, and the public, you will support the coordination of traffic control signals, streetlights, signs, and pavement markings, while also assisting with traffic data collection, permitting, and technical reporting. This role combines both field and office responsibilities, ranging from troubleshooting signal systems and supporting construction projects, to analyzing traffic data and responding to resident inquiries. It is well-suited to a detail-oriented and collaborative individual with strong technical expertise and a passion for improving transportation systems.
