Your Opportunity Stantec's Infrastructure team is looking for a Traffic Planning and Traffic Engineering (TPTE) Lead to join our Prairies and Territories Infrastructure Business Center. In this leadership role, you will help develop, manage, and grow our TPTE practice while supporting the delivery of transportation planning, traffic engineering, transportation safety, and multimodal transportation projects across Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut.
Reporting to the Operations Lead, you will play a key role in building trusted relationships, supporting a collaborative and blended-team approach to project delivery, and helping our people grow through coaching, mentorship, and career development. This is an opportunity for a collaborative, client-focused leader who is passionate about technical excellence, people leadership, and strengthening our transportation practice across Western and Northern Canada.
Lead, develop, manage, and grow the TPTE team across the Prairies and Territories in alignment with Infrastructure's strategic direction and business priorities.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to build trusted relationships, coach others, support employee development, and foster a collaborative team environment.
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, transportation engineering, planning, or a related field. A graduate degree would be considered an asset.
Minimum of 8 years of related experience in transportation planning, traffic engineering, transportation safety, multimodal transportation, project delivery, business development, and/or people leadership; or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
Professional registration, or eligibility for registration, in a related discipline is preferred.
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
