Qualifications

• Entry Level TQ in a building technology related field or equivalent experience.
• 10 years of related experience supporting vocational trades training programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and assistance to students and faculty in trades programs.
• Monitor shop work safety and maintain inventory of tools and equipment.

Skills

Monitoring student activity

Supporting electronic training

Forklift and Reach Truck certification

Computer software applications (MS Office, MS Excel, Outlook)

Safe use of machinery

Knowledge of WHMIS and WCB procedures

Organizational skills

Effective communication in English

Ability to work independently and in a team

Physical ability to lift heavy items
