SUPREME STEEL is a family company and a leading steel solutions provider with a long history in western Canada and the U.S. We are seeking a Trades Helper for our Saskatoon, SK facility. The role requires safety-minded individuals with strong communication and the ability to learn quickly.

Experience operating an overhead crane is an asset. This is a full-time, unionized position with potential night shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in the industry is an asset.
• Ability to gain knowledge quickly.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Supreme Steel is currently looking for a Trades Helper to join our team, at our facility in Saskatoon, SK. Experience in the industry is an asset. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to gain knowledge quickly, following safety precautions and have strong communication skills. Experience operating an overhead crane is an asset.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Undertaking several types of general labourer duties including material handling using the overhead crane.
• Assisting Journeypersons as required.

These are full-time unionized positions, which may be required to work night shift.

• Supreme Steel offers a competitive wage and benefit package as per the collective agreement, including yearly safety boot and glasses allowances, three extra paid statutory holidays each year and nights shift premium of $3.00/hr.
