Job summary

Harlequin Enterprises ULC in Toronto, ON is seeking an Intern, Marketing (Trade) for a 12-month paid contract. You will support trade publishing campaigns, attend imprint meetings, and help create social content under the Senior Marketing Manager.

The role focuses on book marketing across campaigns, influencer outreach, media booking, and ad tracking, with a hybrid Toronto workplace and eligibility to work in Canada.

Qualifications

• Completion of university or college education, or equivalent work experience in marketing, communications, or publishing.
• Interest in marketing or publishing.
• Applicants must be eligible to work and be paid in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Assist Marketing Managers with campaigns and taglines.
• Attend imprint meetings and author calls.
• Create social videos and graphics for social platforms.
• Book media placements and conduct influencer outreach.
• Assist with digital ad tracking and ad invoices.
• Distribute advance reading copies and swag to booksellers and influencers.
