Job Description

The Trade Deduction Coordinator provides financialadministrative support to the Sales Organization, focusing on trade andpromotional spending. The primary objective is to manage trade deductions inFoodservice and C&G businesses to ensure compliance with pricing, contractterms, and agreement requirements. This position collaborates with varioussales personnel to deliver on responsibilities.

Responsibilities
Trade & Analytics
  • Collaboratewith Business Development Managers (BDMs), Global Business Services(GBS), Customer Finance, and Broker Partners to ensure trade iscaptured accurately, monitor proof of performance to clear deductions intimely manner for distributor deductions.
  • Setup and manage Foodservice Trade, making forecast adjustments as instructedin the TPM tool
  • Monitor trade spend across all Foodservice and C&G customer trade programs, proactively identify gaps to minimize trade overspends, and resolvedata/system discrepancies.
  • Updatesales team members proactively and hold them accountable for trade finance management (deductions, true-ups, accruals, payments).
  • Collaboratewith the GBS/deductions team to effectively manage deductions for directand indirect customer trade, and assess ways to improve the deductionprocess
  • Addresspricing discrepancies and track customer compliance, ensuring visibilityof contracts including pricing integrity and agreement terms.
  • Createcheque requests efficiently to pay indirect customers in a timely manneragainst the trade spend accruals.
  • Maintainthe contract database, updating trade files with broker customeragreements and any direct/indirect contracts from the direct sales teamfor easy reference/review.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Setup direct ship and indirect customer accounts in the system, partneringwith cross-functional team members to complete the process.
  • Supportthe industry GS1 platform for Foodservice and C&G product portfolio
  • Inputcustomer complaints into the QA portal, monitor/follow-up as needed, andengage broker/sales teams as required.
  • Createsample orders as needed to drive customer opportunities
  • MonitorFoodservice Canada email for any sales leads or customer inquiries
  • Assistin tradeshow/industry event execution alongside Sales or Marketing lead,acting as the conduit to third-party suppliers who support (e.g., tradebooth, banners).
  • Supportspecial project initiatives to develop customer growth opportunities
Qualifications
  • Bachelor'sDegree or College Diploma in business or finance.
  • 3+years of experience in finance or trade deduction roles in aconsumer-packaged goods environment, preferably with Foodservice Tradeexperience.
  • Knowledgeof distribution networks, supply chain processes, and distributor businessmodels.
  • Experiencemanaging multiple product categories and customers, demonstrating in-depthknowledge of sales, trade, and marketing methods.
  • Proficiencyin contract management reporting, SAP, TPM tool (i.e. TMA, Blacksmith),and MS Office (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Detail-orientedand organized with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Abilityto make recommendations for solutions based on information gathered andanalyzed from the systems mentioned.
  • Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills.
  • Abilityto work independently and under pressure with a high volume oftransactions while following established practices and procedures.
  • Abilityto communicate financial and technical information to non-technicalaudiences.

Compensation

Pay Range:$56,000-$77,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offeringfor this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but notlimited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancinginternal Conagra employees’ equity.Conagra Brands will comply withapplicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
