A leading railway services provider in Canada is seeking an individual to direct work groups on active railway property, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Responsibilities include conducting daily job briefings, reviewing work sites with supervisors, and managing railway-specific signals. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years in the railway industry and certifications in Canadian Railway Operating Rules. This role is physically demanding and requires outdoor work in various weather conditions.
Directing work groups on active railway property and through construction zones. Using specific railway operating rules, instructions and techniques, this position ensures that contractors clear the working zone prior to the approach of a train minimizing any delays to scheduled railway operations.
