Job summary

A well-established car dealership in New Westminster is looking for a fully trained automotive technician to join their growing service department team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on Toyota vehicles, as well as reconditioning used inventory. The ideal candidate will possess a government-issued automotive service technician license, experience in a dealership, and a valid B.C. driver’s license. Qualifications

• Experience with both manual and automatic vehicles necessary.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on Toyota vehicles with care.

Job Description

Westminster Toyota has been located in the center of the lower mainland in New Westminster for over 30 years. The car dealership has a strong presence with many loyal customers. We just completed construction of our brand new state of the art dealership located at 1050 Boyd Street in Queensborough, New Westminster and we're looking to add to our growing service department team. We are looking for a fully trained automotive technician to join our team. In this job you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on Toyota cars and trucks with a great deal of care and accuracy. Some of the other tasks include performing reconditioning work on our used inventory. You take pride in your work, are very efficient and love being part of a team that is quick to find solutions. We are extremely proud of the service we provide to our long time customers.

Qualifications

• Government issued automotive service technician license
• Previous Toyota and/or dealership experience an asset
• Government inspector certificate an asset
• Reynolds & Reynolds or ADP operating system experience an asset
• Valid B.C. drivers license with clean abstract and no restrictions.
• Able to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
• Full set of tools and diagnostic equipment (some equipment provided by Westminster Toyota)
• Good knowledge and mechanical aptitude of many automotive operating systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment without constant supervision

Additional Information

This is a full time position. Schedule will be Monday - Friday or Tuesday - Saturday, 8 hours/day.
