About the Role

We are currently filling a vacancy for a Tour & Event Specialist to join our Marketing Team. This role reports to the Director, Global Marketing, and will be responsible for planning and delivering tour programs, hosted visits, and events that showcase our genetics, facilities, people and brand. While also ensuring every guest experience is seamless, memorable, and leaves a lasting impression.

What You Will Do:
  • Plan and prepare tour programs to Canada and US; organize visits to company headquarters, and host delegations
  • Coordinate itineraries, schedules, travel logistics, accommodations, transportation, and on‑site needs with proactive and highly responsive communication.
  • Coordinate farm tours, budgets, and timelines
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for guests and stakeholders
  • Lead planning and delivery of corporate events, meetings, and hospitality experiences and prepare run‑of‑show event documents
What You Need to Succeed:
  • 3–5 years’ experience in event management, tours, hospitality, or program coordination
  • Proactive, highly responsive and clear communication skills to keep work moving forward
  • Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills
  • Experience in managing budgets, vendors, and multiple priorities
  • Comfortable working with farm hosts, senior leaders and external partners
  • Travel may be required to manage on‑site events and support tour groups
  • International tour experience is an asset
  • Background in agriculture is an asset
  • Event or hospitality certification is an asset

Work Location & Minimum Pay Rate

This is an in‑person role requiring 5 days per week in our Guelph location offering a minimum starting salary of $57,000, with potential compensation enhancements based on applicable experience and qualifications.
