Job summary

Richardson Wealth Limited is seeking a Total Rewards Analyst to support compensation, benefits, and workforce data programs. You will assist with annual salary reviews, incentive cycles, reporting, and automation initiatives using advanced Excel and HRIS tools.

The role emphasizes data quality, benchmarking, dashboards, and collaboration with HR leaders to drive efficient Total Rewards processes. A 1–3 year background in HR/Rewards and strong data skills are preferred.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in HR, Total Rewards, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, HRIS, Finance or a related analytical role.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, lookups, data analysis, and exposure to macros or VBA.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with large datasets and perform complex data validation and reconciliation activities.

Responsibilities

  • Support the administration of annual salary review and incentive compensation cycles.
  • Maintain, enhance, and develop compensation planning tools, Excel-based macro solutions, and analytical resources used during compensation review processes.
  • Conduct compensation analysis, including market benchmarking, salary positioning, pay equity reviews, and cost modelling.
  • Maintain the integrity of HRIS, compensation, organizational, and benefits data through ongoing validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance activities.
  • Generate reports, dashboards, and insights to support decision-making by HR leaders and business stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and streamline Total Rewards processes through automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support HRIS testing, audits, and system enhancements.
  • Assist with benefits, retirement savings, and wellness program administration.
  • Respond to employee inquiries and coordinate with vendors as required.
  • Maintain documentation, procedures, compliance records, and audit materials.
  • Assist with compliance reporting and special projects.

Job description

Position Overview

The Total Rewards Analyst is responsible for supporting the administration, analysis, and delivery of compensation, incentive, benefits, and workforce data programs. This role plays a key part in the execution of annual compensation review and incentive compensation cycles through the maintenance, enhancement, and development of analytical tools, models, and reporting solutions. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong technical and analytical capabilities, with advanced Excel skills and an interest in leveraging data and technology to improve business processes. Working closely with the Leader, Total Rewards and Payroll, the Analyst will support compensation analysis, HRIS administration, reporting, process automation, and continuous improvement initiatives across the Total Rewards function.

  • Experience developing reports, models, dashboards, or process automation tools is considered a strong asset.
  • Curiosity and aptitude for leveraging technology to drive efficiency and continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of Canadian HR practices is an asset.
  • Experience with Dayforce or other HRIS platforms is an asset.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.

The expected annualized base salary range for this role is $60,000-$70,000.
The actual salary offered will take into consideration a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the individual’s skill, experience, education and training, and the consideration of internal equity. Richardson offers a competitive total rewards package in addition to the base pay, which includes a performance-based incentive plan, comprehensive health & dental benefits, a group RRSP matching plan and paid time off.
