Job summary

A global non-profit organization based in Toronto is seeking a Grants Manager to oversee end-to-end management of a USD 80M donor-funded program. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with donor regulations, produce high-quality reports, and coordinate effectively across teams to support successful program implementation. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of relevant grant management experience and be authorized to work in Canada.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience managing complex, grant funded, multi-year projects.
• Direct experience with major international, corporate donors, foundations and non-profit organizations.
• Exceptional organizational skills, including time and project management.
• Strong project and grant reporting experience with knowledge of reporting systems.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for diverse stakeholders.
• Prior regional, in-country experience in East and West Africa preferred.
• Authorized to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end grant management for a donor-funded program.
• Ensure compliance and accurate financial tracking.
• Produce high-quality narrative and financial reports.
• Coordinate with program, finance, and Development teams.
• Track milestones and manage grant check-ins.
• Monitor financial performance and track grant payment schedules.
