Working Hours/ Days: Monday – Friday (8AM – 5PM)

Job Summary

Responsible for calibrating, maintaining, and repairing measurement instruments and managing the tool room inventory to ensure all tools and equipment meet required accuracy and compliance standards. This role supports production and quality teams by ensuring precision tools and gauges are available and properly calibrated.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform scheduled calibration of measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers, gauges, torque wrenches) according to ISO and company standards.
  • Document calibration results and maintain accurate records for compliance and traceability.
  • Troubleshoot and repair faulty instruments or coordinate external calibration services.
  • Develop and update calibration procedures to meet evolving quality requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to GMP, ISO 9001/17025, and other regulatory standards.
  • Manage tool crib inventory, including issuing, receiving, and tracking tools.
  • Maintain proper storage and labeling of tools and equipment.
  • Inspect tools for wear and damage; arrange for repair or replacement as needed.
  • Support production teams by ensuring timely availability of calibrated tools.
  • Maintain records of tool usage and calibration schedules.
  • Collaborate with engineers and quality teams to resolve measurement issues.
  • Assist in audits related to calibration and tool control.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality protocols.
  • Sighting of equipment / assets.
  • Disposal of assets.
  • Database assets recording.
  • RFQ.
  • Assist visitors / guest.
Qualifications
  • Diploma or Associate Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or related field.
  • 2–3 years in calibration, metrology, or tool room management.
  • Knowledge of calibration principles and measurement standards.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 17025, and quality systems.
  • Proficiency in using calibration equipment (e.g., multimeters, leak testers, pressure gauges).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
