Westerkirk Capital is seeking a General Labourer to join the Tooling Department in Calgary, AB. The role involves shop janitorial duties and hands-on manufacturing tasks including deburring, part marking and material handling.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma, prior manufacturing exposure, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Forklift experience is a plus, with emphasis on safety and quality in a team setting.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience working in a manufacturing operation is preferred.
• Able to safely set up and operate shop equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to operate a forklift is preferred.
• Ability to work safely with limited supervision.
• Experience using MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and ERP systems is considered an asset.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and maintain an orderly work environment.

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking General Labourer to join our Tooling Department in Calgary, AB. The ideal candidate will assist in various tasks within our manufacturing operations, ensuring smooth and efficient operations within the facility. Please note that this will be a 9 month term assignment with the possibility of extension.
