Job summary

A leading completions company in Calgary is seeking a Tool Technician for a 3-month contract. Responsibilities include tool assembly, general labor, and support for shipping and receiving. Qualifications

• Experience in manual and mechanical lifting and moving equipment.
• Ability to conduct pre-use inspections of mobile equipment.
• Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine housekeeping around the shop.
• Prepare tools for building and build basic tools.
• Load tools into crates or pallets for shipments.

Skills

About the Role

The Tool Technician will work closely with other Tool Technicians in the assembly and testing of Steelhaus products by utilizing various hand tools and assembly processes. The Tool Technician will support Shipping/Receiving and Quality department.

Position Details

• Status: 3-month contract
• Available Shifts:
  • Day (Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM)
  • Weekend (Fri-Sun, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
• Location: Calgary, AB (NE Area)

Duties and Responsibilities

General Labor

• Performing routine housekeeping around the Shop
• Manual & Mechanical Lifting & Moving Equipment, Materials and Supplies
• Prepping Equipment Prior to Testing
• Conducting Pre-Use Inspections of Mobile Equipment
• Operating Pallet Jack

Assembly

• Preparing tools for building
• Building basic tools
• Use of Hand Tools

Shipping & Receiving

• Manual & Mechanical Loading tools into Crates or pallets for Shipments

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Basic computer skills (MS office)
• Skilled in the use of various hand tools
• Ability to communicate with well with others
