Job summary

Tirecraft in Brantford, ON is seeking a Tire Technician (Passenger Light Truck) to join our team. This hourly position offers wages of $19-$23 per hour based on experience, with opportunities for growth and training.

You will work closely with Service Advisors, locate tires, perform tire mounting/dismounting, and conduct basic maintenance such as oil changes while upholding safety and quality standards. Join a Canadian-owned leader in tires and automotive services with benefits including health

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with clean abstract.
• Mechanical aptitude and experience are valuable assets.
• Basic understanding of routine automotive maintenance repairs/service.
• Strong people skills for interactions with customers and staff.
• Positive can-do attitude and commitment to the role and company.

Responsibilities

• Interact with Service Advisor to obtain work orders and requirements.
• Locate tires and materials from inventory as per work order.
• Retrieve customer vehicles, hoist/jack as needed, and mount/dismount tires.
• Perform additional maintenance such as oil changes as required.
• Notify Advisor of additional service needs identified during service.
• Assist in maintaining shop equipment and ensuring safety and cleanliness.
• Ensure shop and equipment are kept clean and safe at all times.
• Handle Receiving/Shipping of inventories entering and leaving the shop.
• Communicate service details and recommendations to customers.
