Job summary

Fountain Tire is hiring Tire Technicians at our Londonderry location. You will install, balance, rotate, and repair tires and wheels for passenger and light trucks, reset TPMS, and maintain equipment. Opportunities include training, advancement, and overtime during busy seasons in a respectful environment.

Qualifications

• Prior tire technician experience is an asset.
• Familiarity with passenger and light truck tires and wheels.
• Customer-service focus and ability to build relationships.

Responsibilities

• Installing, balancing, rotating, and repairing passenger and light truck tires and wheels.
• Resetting and repairing TPMS (tire pressure monitoring systems).
• Maintaining tire service equipment on a regular schedule.
• Completing specialty tire work (e.g., studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen).
• Assist in inventory management through documentation and counts.

You will be responsible for

• Installing, balancing, rotating, and repairing passenger and light truck tires and wheels
• Resetting and repairing tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)
• Maintaining tire service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
• Completing specialty tire work which could include studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.
• Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts

What does it take to get on track?

• Previous experience as a Tire Technician is an asset
• A working knowledge of passenger and light truck tires, specialty tire services and wheels is an asset
• A customer-service focus with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers
• A keen attention to detail
Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to consistently lift 25 kilograms
