Job summary

Kal Tire in Airdrie, AB is seeking a Tire Technician to support daily shop service work, including tire installation, repair, rotation, and maintenance. This role offers full-time and part-time hours during a contract, with a hands-on, safety-first team environment.

You will operate tire service equipment, lift 30–50 lbs, and collaborate with teammates to keep operations on schedule. Prior tire or automotive experience is preferred, and a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Previous tire technician or automotive experience or training.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs repeatedly and stay active throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Team-oriented with a practical, safety‑first approach.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Install, remove, rotate, balance, and repair tires.
• Safely operate tire service equipment and tools.
• Inspect tires and vehicles to identify required services.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and use PPE at all times.
• Support the team to keep workflow efficient and on schedule.
