The Premier Marble Company Ltd O/A Premier granite & Stone is seeking a tile setter to join our team in Edmonton, AB. You will prepare surfaces, set and align tiles, mix mortars, and install stone surfaces with attention to precision and safety.

This full-time role requires 3–5 years of experience, physical stamina, and the ability to work at various sites. Competitive hourly wage, with relocation/retention bonus available.

Competenze

• Secondary school graduation certificate required.
• 3–5 years tile setting experience.
• Ability to work at various locations and lift heavy materials.
• Physically demanding role with bending, crouching and kneeling.

Mansioni

• Prepare, measure and mark surfaces to be covered.
• Mix, apply and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue or other adhesives using hand trowel.
• Set tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to base.
• Align and straighten tiles; cut and fit around obstacles using hand/power tools.
• Pack grout into joints and remove excess grout; replace damaged tiles.
• Lay and set mosaic tiles; install marble and granite; polish terra surfaces.
• Install tile strips and maintain work area.
