Job summary

Metalcraft Technology Inc. in Coquitlam, BC is seeking a Welder to join our team on the full-time afternoon shift (40 hours/week). The role focuses on TIG welding of aluminum and stainless steel, reading blueprints, setting up equipment, and maintaining safety.

You will work on various projects, ensure weld quality, inspect results, and collaborate in a supportive, growth-oriented environment with opportunities for development and company events.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of welding experience with aluminum and stainless steel.
• Proficient in TIG and MIG welding.
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols.
• Familiarity with different metals and properties.
• Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship.
• Knowledge of WorkSafeBC welding safety practices.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada.
• Must own CSA-approved steel-toe boots.

Responsibilities

• TIG welding operations on various metal components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding requirements.
• Set up and operate welding equipment, including TIG and MIG welding, torches, and other tools.
• Clean and prepare surfaces for welding by removing rust, dirt, grease, or contaminants.
• Position and secure workpieces using clamps, fixtures, or other holding devices.
• Weld components together according to specifications and ensure weld quality.
• Inspect finished welds for defects and make repairs or adjustments as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Metalcraft Technology Inc. is a manufacturer of precision sheet metal parts serving clients in Canada and the U.S. We are located in Coquitlam, BC, and currently looking for a Welder to join our team. As a Welder, You Will

• Perform TIG welding operations on various metal components
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements

• Legally entitled to work in Canada.
• Must own CSA-approved steel-toe boots (other PPE provided by the company).
