Position Overview

A Security Guard at a hospital is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of all patients, staff, and visitors within the hospital premises. This position requires strong leadership abilities, must be team orientated, have excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of security protocols in a healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Security Patrols: Conduct regular patrols of facilities and keep detailed reports of any incidents.
  • Incident Response: Respond promptly to any security incidents, emergencies, or alarms, and coordinate with local law enforcement when necessary.
  • Reporting: Maintain detailed and accurate records of all security incidents, activities, and personnel movements within the client facilities.
  • Public Relations: Must have good communication skills with the public, maintaining a professional, friendly and compassionate demeaner.
  • Training and Development: Complete any and all required training that may be required be site specific duties.
  • Customer Service: Maintain a good relationship with client and staff, and direct any immediate concerns to the Site Supervisor.
