Job summary

Peter Ballantyne Child & Family Services Inc. is seeking three casual Youth Care Workers for the PBCFSI Specialized Peer Home 2 in Prince Albert, SK.

You will report to the Specialized Peer Home Supervisor and provide child care, transportation for family visitations, and educational services on family matters. Qualifications include a Social Work Certificate or equivalent and CCW training or related experience.

Qualifications

• Social Work Certificate or equivalent is required.
• CCW training or experience in the Child & Family Services area is required.
• Mature, stable and leads a healthy lifestyle.
• Commitment to protecting children.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends, if required.
• Must have a working telephone at home.
• Knowledge of the Cree culture, language, political and social objectives of PBCN.
• Persons of First Nation's Ancestry are encouraged to apply.
• Employment will be determined based on a satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check.
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
