Job summary

Ardene is seeking a Third Key Holder in Vancouver to support store operations, merchandising and customer service. You will work with management to ensure efficiency in store and stockroom operations and step in for leadership in their absence.

The role requires at least 1 year of retail experience, strong selling skills, and the ability to lead a team with a friendly, inclusive approach. Availability includes days, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store operations in the absence of Store/Assistant Manager, including opening/closing procedures, cleanliness, restocking and merchandising, customer service and supervision of the team.
• Create a friendly environment to ensure outstanding service, greeting and re-approaching customers and being knowledgeable about products.
• Process purchases at the register.
• Adhere to all company policies.
• Assist Store Manager in maintaining company standards per employee manual.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Store Manager.

The Role

The Third Key Holder assists with all visual, merchandising and marketing directives. The role collaborates with management to ensure efficient store and stockroom operations. In the absence of team leaders, the Third Key Holder is responsible for all store operations.

Responsibilities Include

• In the absence of the Store Manager and the Assistant Manager, the Third Key Holder is responsible for overseeing all store operations including: opening and closing procedures, store cleanliness, re-stocking and merchandising, customer service and supervision of the team.
• Ensuring outstanding service by creating a friendly environment. This includes greeting, acknowledging and re-approaching every customer, and being knowledgeable about products.
• Processing purchases at the register.
• Adhering to all company policies.
• Supporting the Store Manager in ensuring company standards are followed in accordance with the employee manual.
• Performing any other related duties as directed by the Store Manager.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods and climb a ladder;
• Move, lift and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store (weighing up to 30 pounds).

Availability Requirements

• Days, evenings and weekends.
