About the Role:

BMV seeks an experienced Thin Film Technician with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the optics industry.

Responsibilities:

• Design and deposition of thin film coatings
• Maintenance of vacuum deposition chambers and related equipment
• Measurement and testing of thin film coatings
• Training, scheduling and working with other departments with in BMV

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the precision optics industry.
• Experience in thin film design
• Experience in cryogenic and diffusion pumping systems as well as the operation of deposition systems in a fast-paced production environment.
• Familiar with maintaining and repair of equipment is essential
