Alberta Health Services Medicine Hat is seeking a Therapy Assistant to deliver transdisciplinary treatment plans for clients after stroke and brain injury in home and community settings. You will work with an interprofessional team, under supervision, to support rehabilitation across the health care continuum.

The role requires diploma in Therapy Assistance, First Aid and BLS, with preference for those experienced in stroke/brain injury rehab and who can document in Epic/Connect Care.

Qualifikationen

• Completion of diploma from an accredited post-secondary rehabilitation Therapy Assistant program.
• Valid First Aid Certification.
• Heart & Stroke - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience in stroke and/or brain injury rehabilitation preferred.
• Experience supporting OT, PT, SLP and Recreation Therapy preferred.
• Experience with Epic/Connect Care documentation preferred.
