Alberta Health Services in Fairview, AB, is seeking a Recreation Therapy Assistant for the Enhanced Adult Day Program in a Type A long-term care facility. You will work within an interprofessional team to promote client-centered therapy and social engagement.

The role requires a Therapy Assistant diploma or equivalent, BCLS-HCP, and strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Experience with Epic Connect Care is a plus, with remote allowances and incentive eligibility noted.

Qualifikationen

• Completion of diploma from an accredited post-secondary rehabilitation Therapy Assistant program or equivalent training may be considered.
• Therapeutic Recreation Assistant or equivalent Diploma/Certification from a recognized post-secondary institution or equivalent experience required. Valid BCLS-HCP certificate required.
• Proven organizational and time management skills with excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience with Connect Care (Epic) electronic charting is preferred.

• Assist with promotion of a comprehensive service for clients in the Enhanced Adult Day Program.
• Collaborate with interprofessional teams to deliver rehabilitation services across the care continuum.
• Contribute to quality improvement, program planning and student supervision.
