Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in Theatre Production, Theatre Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of technical theatre or event production experience.
• Experience with lighting, sound, projection and stagecraft; operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Experience with stage carpentry and safe operation of power/tools; set construction.
• Familiarity with QLab, livestreaming platforms, and basic networking systems.

Responsibilities

• Support setup, execution, and teardown of performances and events.
• Assist lighting, sound, rigging, and stage operations; install programming and maintenance.
• Perform stage carpentry and scenic installation using power/tools.
• Support rigging and work safely at heights with ladders and catwalks.
• Provide AV support including livestreaming and event recording.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance of theatre assets.
• Collaborate with students, faculty, staff and external groups to deliver events.
• Ensure all work adheres to safety standards.
