StoryBook Theatre in Calgary is seeking a Theatre School Administrator to manage our Theatre School training programs for ages 6 to 20. The role requires coordination of sessions, rentals, and events, and acting as the main point of contact for students and parents.

Extensive experience with children is essential. The position involves scheduling, curriculum updates, and collaboration with teachers and homeschool boards, with duties expanding during camps and performances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in the Arts, Education, or Administration, or equivalent professional experience.
• Exceptional level of organization and planning.
• Strong instructional and classroom management skills.
• Ability to problem solve quickly and efficiently.
• Use of Microsoft Word, Adobe, Excel, DropBox, Trello, and Facebook is an asset.
• Experience working on Mac computers is an asset.
• Must submit to a criminal background check.

Responsabilités

• Schedule Theatre School sessions (Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer).
• Schedule room/space rentals for all locations including classes and performances.
• Prepare for performances including equipment rentals, programs, and headshots bookings.
• Communicate with staff to ensure proper running of all classes.
• Communicate with parents about course details and schedules.
