Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (NMC) or Operating Department Practitioner (HCPC) with significant scrub experience in General and/or Vascular Surgery.
- Experience in leading a theatre team within a complex surgical environment.
- Strong communicator, able to influence and support others.
Responsibilities
- Lead the daily coordination of theatre activities ensuring safe patient care.
- Scrub for a range of complex surgical procedures, maintaining clinical standards.
- Support consultant surgeons and theatre teams in evidence‑based practice.
Skills
Registered Nurse (NMC) or Operating Department Practitioner (HCPC)
Significant scrub experience in General and/or Vascular Surgery
Strong communication skills
Experience in leading a theatre team
Knowledge of governance and quality improvement processes
