A local community service provider in Hamilton seeks a Cook / Housekeeper to enhance the dignity and quality of life of clients. You will manage housekeeping and food preparation, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, cleaning experience, and a commitment to serving diverse communities. This role offers a supportive team atmosphere and opportunities for professional growth, with a pay rate of $23.03 per hour.
Hours of work: Monday - Friday 10am-6pm

The Cook / Housekeeper enhances the dignity and quality of life of our clients through the assumed responsibility for housekeeping and food preparation services in accordance with the Role Description, particularly by ensuring the overall cleanliness and respectful appearance of the facility, maintaining adequate supplies for housekeeping and meal preparation, as well as serving healthy meals. Hospitality and availability are aided by providing an environment that is welcoming and hospitable to clients. The incumbent must also be able to demonstrate flexibility in the carrying out of her work in response to client and organizational needs and must be able to adapt to the changing needs of a diversity of clients accessing service.
