Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group in Montreal is seeking a Textile Technician for a temporary position within the Costumes and Props teams. You will develop, manufacture and deliver textile materials for shows, reporting to the head of materials and supporting the textile processing steps.
Requirements include a DEC in textile printing or related field, at least 3 years in textiles (screen printing, dyeing), mastery of textile chemistry, and hands-on skills with dyeing, printing and finishing

The Textile Technician will be responsible for developing, manufacturing and delivering textile materials that meet the needs of our shows. Reporting to the head of materials, you support your colleagues in all the required textile processing steps.
Due to the nature of the position in textiles and dyeing, the individual will regularly work with chemicals, although all necessary safety equipment will be provided to ensure a safe working environment.
