Your mission:

We are seeking a Testing Operator to join our growing team in Edmonton. • Identify, investigate, and perform root-cause analysis on product failures or defects; complete rework on failed units as required.
  • Collaborate with the R&D team to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues when needed.
  • Communicate quality, testing, and manufacturing concerns to management.
  • Complete and maintain accurate run-tracking and production documentation.
  • Perform lead-free hand soldering of through-hole and surface-mount components, including PCB repair and SMT first-article verification.
  • Conduct quality control inspections on outgoing shipments to ensure products meet RCC standards.
  • Use and help maintain current test manuals, ensuring documentation is accurate and up to date.
  • Install, use, and maintain the most current RCC application software required for testing.
  • Provide cross-functional support in through-hole assembly, testing, and final assembly areas as needed.

This role might be right for you if you have:

  • Have at least 2+ years experience with hands-on electronics manufacturing and testing of sub-assemblies
  • Experience with troubleshooting and repair of electronics sub-assemblies
  • Strong knowledge of test instrumentation, calibration, and software tools.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards, WHMIS, and health & safety practices is an asset.

You’ll be successful in this position if you:

  • Are a strong communicator who can build relationships with various teams and stakeholders
  • Are heavily detail oriented, with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality
  • Strong ability to problem solve in a fast paced environment
  • Enjoy working within a team environment and collaborating with colleagues
  • Value a healthy work–life balance; we don\'t expect you to work overtime or weekends
