Job summary

A multinational corporation in Alberta is seeking an Electronics Test Engineer. The role involves developing test programs for various integrated circuits and requires a degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering. No prior experience is required as training will be provided, and candidates should have strong problem-solving skills and be familiar with digital and analog electronics. This is a permanent position with a Monday to Friday schedule.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Electronics / Electrical Engineering required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with desire to perform hands‑on work within a lab environment.
  • Knowledge of Digital and Analog electronics, able to write scripts using Python is desired.

Responsibilities

  • Test program development for Digital, Power Management, RF & Mixed Signal ICs using ATE.
  • Design test hardware load board and probe card.
  • Work closely with design engineers on the first silicon debug.
  • Debug digital test patterns and device characterization across PVT.
  • Involve in production release, yield improvement, and test time reduction.
  • Operation of Automatic Wafer Prober and Test Handler.

Job description
  • Test program Development for Digital, Power Management, RF & Mixed Signal Integrated Circuits (IC's) using Automated Test Equipment (ATE) for wafer sort and packaged IC's
  • Design Test Hardware Load board and Probe Card
  • Work closely with the design engineers on the first silicon debug, device characterization, test program bring up and production release activities
  • Debug of digital test patterns and Device characterization across PVT (Process, Voltage and Temperature)
  • Involve in production release, yield improvement and test time reduction
  • Operation of Automatic Wafer Prober, Test Handler
  • High level of collaboration and interaction with different Hardware, Product Engineering, Design Engineering, Quality Engineering, and Foundry Engineering teams.
Requirements
  • Degree in Electronics / Electrical Engineering
  • Good Knowledge of Digital and Analog electronics, able to write scripts using Python is desired.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with desire to perform hands‑on work within a lab environment.
