Job summary

Ford of Canada is seeking a skilled software test engineer to join the ECG test team. You will develop automated stress and endurance test tools, libraries, and scripts, and maintain automated test suites to ensure robustness under sustained load and edge-case conditions.

Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, 5+ years in test automation, 3+ years Python development, and 3+ years embedded systems testing.

Working as a member of ECG test team, successful candidate will be involved in the delivery vehicle software platform for latest vehicle technologies. You will develop automated stress and endurance test tools, libraries, and scripts; and maintain automated execution of test suites to validate system robustness under sustained load and edge-case conditions.

You'll have...

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field of study

Experience:

• 5+ year experience in test automation and tools development.
• 3+ year experience in Python development and object-oriented design.
• 3+ year experience in Testing on Embedded Systems.

• Familiarity with resource monitoring, load generation, and fault injection techniques for embedded systems.
• Proven aptitude for troubleshooting and problem solving.

The expected annual salary range for this Ford of Canada position is $96,000.00 - $146,000.00 and individuals may be eligible to participate in our Annual Compensation bonus program.
